Samui Island or Kho Samui (Kho - Sa - Mui)
located in the Gulf
of Thailand, about 84 km far from Surat Thani Province.
It is Thailand's third largest island, with an area of 247
km², width 24 km, length 25 km, the main road surrounds
the island is roundly 50 km, named ‘Taweerajpakdee Road’.
The best period for tourism is Febuary- April because there
is no windy and the most popular beach is Chaweng beach on
the northeast coast and Lamai beach on the East coast which
is just south of Chaweng and smaller. Both are the tourist
destination because the beach is beautiful and clean. Every
kind of resort, restaurant, and bar are available there.
