Pattaya(Pat - Ta - Ya)
Pattaya is a city in Thailand, located on the east coast
of the Gulf of Thailand about 165 km southeast of Bangkok
in the Chon Buri province. Pattaya is the most famous seaside
town of Thailand because it offers the beautiful beach,
a lot of luxury hotels and resorts, the shopping center
and renowned nightlife with several kinds for pub, bar and
restaurant.
The climate is a tropical wet and dry during November -
February, hot and humid during March - May, and hot and
rainy during June – October. The peak tourist season
is over the Christmas and New Year period.
Traveling from Bangkok to Pattaya is very convenient by
bus from Bangkok's Ekamai or Mo-chid 2 bus stations which
take approximately 2 hours. Also, through U-Tapao International
Airport which is 45 minutes drive from the city.
