Chang Island or Kho Chang(Kho - Chang)
 The
name of this island means Elephant Island. Kho Chang is the
second largest island of Thailand surrounding with more
than 47 small islands. Thus, the island is part of the Mu
Kho Chang Marine National Park. It is a mountainous island
with several waterfalls and rainforest. The island is about
30 km long and almost 14 km wide, totaling 217 km².
The island now receives around 600,000 visitors per year.
The best tourist period is April-October. The travel is
315 km from Bangkok to Trat and 17 km from Laem Ngop –Trat
to Kho Chang. The ferry departs from Laem Ngop several times
per day and taking approximately 40 mins to the island.
